Building Relationships

Empowering the brand and delivering marketing results

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Manitoba was looking for a more strategic digital vision that required a refocus and expansion to better reflect the leadership the organization provides for those in the mechanical contractor industry.

After a competitive bid Unite Interactive's creative digital team was awarded the opportunity to rebuild MCAM's website and expand on the functionality afforded to MCAM internal stakeholders and the MCAM membership.

The existing site had limited functionality for managers to update content, and the user experience was complex and confusing. Unite Interactive provided a fully customized CMS that could grow with their needs rather than being locked into an off-the-shelf product. Internally the CMS solution allows MCAM to manage the website's content, but also things like online registration, membership management and automated renewal, news/event management and more.

In addition, MCAM members are able to manage their company profiles (logo, company overviews, key contacts and more.), allowing them enhance their member profile through the different marketing channels available with MCAM's web and social media platforms.

Unite Interactive's creative team redesigned MCAM's website while honoring their current branding. The website included an expanded color palette, new imagery treatments, and fresh typography and video to "tell MCAM's story." The final design elevated MCAM's look and feel by adding modern touches while maintaining a timeless and easy-to-use experience.

MCAM uses video storytelling to drive engagement

We worked with the Mechanical Contractor Association of Manitoba to produce storytelling videos of members that have benefited from the association's membership and support. Crafted videos like these are essential for brand awareness, engagement and help capture people's attention.

The video stories are authentic and honest, speaking to the values, beliefs, and benefits of MCAM while engaging the audience on a deeper level and building a strong emotional connection.

Storytelling is a part of our basic human instinct. When we want someone to understand our situation, we tell them a story. Humans are visual learners, we see things, and that's how we learn and remember stuff. That is why these types of storytelling videos can be so effective and make your brand stand out from the crowd.
